This weekend, Potterheads gathered at King’s Cross station for the annual “Back to Hogwarts” day. This annual gathering is an important event for the massive population of Harry Potter fans. On September 1st every year, they congregate at King’s Cross by the thousands, often dressed as their favorite character from the Wizarding World, to commemorate the day young wizards and witches from across the country make their way to Platform 9 ¾ to board the iconic steam train that takes them back Hogwarts School to begin their new school year.
This year however, the festival is made even more memorable as none or than the lovely Eddie Redmayne and Jude Law, stars of the highly anticipated ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’, appeared on Platform 9 ¾ to join the celebration and lead the countdown to the 11:00 AM departure of the Hogwarts Express.
In the new film, Eddie Redmayne once again stars as Magizoologist Newt Scamander, with Jude Law taking on the iconic role of Newt’s friend and one-time professor, Albus Dumbledore, decades before he becomes Headmaster at Hogwarts.
